My Dad had to have a heart cath and a stint put in so I am trying to catch up on things. (By the way, last year he had heart surgery and a brain tumor removed, so this was a bit of a scare for us for him not to be done with all of the health problems.) He's doing well although they had a bit of trouble getting his blood pressure under control. Hopefully, he's going home today. The man really needs to catch a break, health-wise.
Of course, that means I'm behind on school stuff and trying to get that finished! Anyway, I just wanted you all to know that I haven't fallen off of the planet, and I will get back into the swing of things soon.
I miss all of you, and I'll never catch up on my Reader at this rate. Let me know if I've missed anything important. For now, it's back to work and wishing I could curl up in my bed and sleep for about a week. Can someone arrange that for me? Anyone who would like to do a guest post around here, feel free to let me know. I have a couple of people who are thinking of some things, I think. I haven't had anyone visit in a while though, so I figured it would help get this blog back on track. School should be over in about a month now!

I still have your dad in my prayers.....
Sorry to hear about the health scare with your dad! Hope he gets better soon.
Hope he gets better.
In a two year period, my hubby had 13 hospital admissions, 7 angiograms and 3 angioplasties with 1 including a stent. I can certainly understand what you're going through. It is tiring, stressful, and scary for the family too. Hope your Dad is ok now. He definitely needs a break. So do you. I'm not going anywhere so when you come back we'll catch up. Thinking of you!!
OT.. Thanks so much. That means a lot to me.
J.Day.. Thanks, girl! We are hoping this is it for a while for him.
Tony.. Thanks a lot, hon.
Barb.. Thank you so much, my friend. I just can't get over how much he's been through, but we've been lucky that most of it is preventive medicine so far.. even though they were major surgeries. I was always a Daddy's girl so this has all worried me. We've been so blessed to have both of our parents for this long though. Thanks for being there! Maybe I'll take a break at the beach to come knock on your door. :)
As someone who has been slacking on reading and writing blogs lately out of pure laziness, I don't think anyone can condemn you for your excuse. I hope your dad gets back to health soon and that you find some peace within your chaos right now.
visions unto myself
I will keep you, your father, and your family in my prayers. Don't worry about your reader, silly, just do what you need to for yourself and your family...we'll all still be here.
I hope all settles down for you especially your dad! You and your family are in my prayers.
I'll be around. Take care of your dad. Don't worry about us. I pray that this finds you and loved ones well.
Best wishes for your father! If my 90-year-old grandfather can get through those procedures, your father can, too. :-)
I'm sorry! I hope your dad gets better real soon!
sorry to hear about your dad hope he feels better soon and as for catching up you'll get to it soon enough. hugs
Love, Hugs and Prayers--In whichever order you need them--and they never expire!!!

I hope your dad is okay :-/
Also, it seems like EVERYONE is going through a I-can't-handle-everything-right-now phase. I definitely am. I had over 1,000 reader entries. I'm working on them today but there is no way I'm going to get through all of them. I feel so guilty but I just have not been able to blog or read blogs like I want to. No worries! We're still here.
My slack behind didn't even reply to all of your great comments on this last post. I'm so sorry and I'll get back with it, folks! Yours will be some of the blogs I run to first. Thanks for all of the support, seriously.
